This motive is profit maximization. They do not care how they will achieve the maximum profit but that is what keeps them in business. Many big companies have been accused of tax evasion. These companies also mistreat their employees by not offering them proper remuneration or appreciation for their efforts. This means that these workers cannot afford the products that they are manufacturing. Big businesses are also seen as a monopoly or dictatorship. They always crush and stifle little competition that comes from the little and small businesses. With this power, they can control the prices in the market and hence can charge the customers the much they want.
